Grapes (Angoor) in Holy Qur’an:

۝  Would any of you wish to have a garden with date-palms and vines. (Surah Al-Bakara, Verse 266)

۝  And from the fruits of date-palms and grapes, you drive strong drink and goodly provision. (Surah-An-Nahl, Verse 67)

۝“ Or you have a garden of date-palms and grapes and cause rivers to gush forth in their midst abundantly.” ( Surah Israa,Verse 91)

۝  And We cause therein the grain to grow and grapes and clover plants (i.e.green fodder for the cattle) and olives and date-palms. (Surah Abasa, Verses 27, 28)

۝  Then We brought forth for you therewith gardens of date-palms and grapes, wherein much fruit is for you and whereof you eat. (Surah l-Mumenoon, Verse 19)

۝  And we have made therein gardens of date-palms and grapes and we have caused springs of water to gush forth therein. (Surah Yaseen, Verse 34)
۝  Verily, for the Muttaqun, there will be a success (Paradise), Gardens and vineyards.(Surah An-Naba, Verses 31,32)

Grapes (Angoor) in Ahadith:

۞  Abu Huraira reported Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) as saying:

None of you should use the word al-harin (for grape) for the heart of a believer is karm (worthy of respect). 
(Sahih Muslim, The Book Concerning the Use of Correct Words, Book 40, Hadith 9)

۞ Wa’il bin Hujr (May Allah be pleased with him) said:

The 
Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) said, “Do not say Al-Karm when talking about grapes but say Al-‘Inab or Al-Habalah.” [Muslim]. (Riyad as-Salihin, Book 18, Hadith 231)

۞ Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) said: “You have raisins (Munaqqa) which make the colour of the face handsome and remove the phlegm”.

۞ Narrated Abdullah bin Abbass (R.A): Raisins were soaked for Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him). He used to drink this syrup that day, the next day and sometimes the third day.
