The Perfect & Most Loving Wives Love Only Their Husbands
A wife who is a perfect match
Allah Ta’la says, “And so it will be, and we will join them with
the Hoors. (44:54)
Ibn Qayyim mentions that the contract of marriage between the
believers and the Hoors is not meant in the verse. Rather, the meaning is that
Allah Ta’la will make the women of Heaven (Jannah) perfect pairs and partners
for their husbands just as one shoe is made to be a pair for the other.

The Hoors I Eagerness and Desire to Meet Their Husbands
Ali narrates, “The angels will greet the dweller of Heaven
(Jannah) on the door of Heaven and will say, “Peace be upon you. You have done
well, so enter Jannah in which you will reside forever. (39-73) Young boys will
also greet them who will be like preserved pearls and scattered pearls. They
will inform the dweller of Jannat of what Allah has prepared for him and will
go around serving him as friends would tend to each other in this world. One
young boy will say to the dweller of Jannat, ‘Be happy, because Allah has
prepared for you this-and this.’ Then the boy will go to one wife from amongst
the person’s wives and tell her that your husband so-and-so has arrived (using
the same name which he had in this world). She will be overtaken by joy and
will stand on the doorstep saying, ‘Did you really see him? “(Ibn Ishaq)
Abu Sa’id narrates that Prophet (Pbuh) said, “Then, he will enter
his house and his two wives from the Hoors will come to him. They will say,
‘All praise is for Allah who has created you for us and has created us for you.
I He will say.’ No one has received what I have received. (Sahih Muslim – 464)
Women Who Will
Desire and Love Only Their Husbands
Allah Ta’la says, “And they will have by them chaste women who
will restrain their glances [on their husbands only] and will be of equal age.
(38:52)
Allah Ta’la has made these women devoted and loving to their husbands only.
They will not desire anyone else and will not even raise their
eyes to look at anyone else besides their husbands. Another interpretation of
this verse is that these women will be so beautiful that they will keep their
husband’s glances fixed on them only. The women of Jannah will also have the
same age as their husbands so that they can relate to each other better and
have a perfect relationship. (Ruhul Mani 13/220)
The Love and
Attachment of the Hoors to Their Husbands
Muadh narrates that Prophet (Pbuh) said, “If any woman troubles
her husband in the world, his wife from among the Hoors says to her, ‘Don’t
bother him, what is wrong with you! He is only a temporary guest by you, and he
will soon leave you and come to us. (Tirmidhi, Abu Dawood)
